BUZZING NOISE FROM STEERING WHEEL !!

Most often you might have encountered a strange buzzing sound from steering wheel while steering in a low speed. I experienced that kind of sound from my car few months back. First I thought that the screws or the mechanism of power steering system has gone faulty but later after consulting my mechanic I found that the power steering fluid that the system uses has gone down beyond it's minimum level.
The power steering fluid reservoir usually has a small dipstick attached to the cap. Remove the cap and check the fluid level. The level should not change more than the normal range on the stick. If you have to add fluid more than once or twice a year, then have the system checked for leaks. These systems are easily damaged if you drive while the fluid is very low.
Here in the image you can find the power steering fluid chamber just above the air filters ( a small container like camber with golden lid ).
Its necessary to check that fluid level once in a year. In most of the cars you will find that chamber right side of the underhood bonnet.

Happy driving !!
